Yellow fever vaccine

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers, coming from or transiting a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission, to Suriname. The vaccination must be undertaken at least 10 days prior to travel to Suriname. Suriname uses the international guidelines for Yellow Fever vaccination for travellers, as laid down by the World Health Organization (WHO), and recognizes the Yellow Fever vaccination certificate as valid for life starting 10 days after vaccination. A vaccination certificate is required for children over 1 year of age. Travellers should carry their vaccination card with them at all times while travelling in Suriname.
