The Sanatan Dharma is the orthodox movement of the Hinduism in Suriname. It is a monotheistic poly-form which means there is only one God who is worshiped in different forms and personification. This movement believes in the caste system and worshiping Idols of Gods and images.
The Arya Samaj is a monotheistic indian reform Movement that promotes values and practices that are based on the infallible authority of the vedas. The samaj was founded by the sanyasi(ascetic) Dayanand Saraswati on 10 April 1875. Members of the Arya Samaj believe in one God and reject idols worshiping.
